Highland and Galloway Cattle:
Highland Cattle are an old heritage breed of cattle that have a gentle disposition and are still well-suited to being raised naturally: rotating on grass. Meet the fold!
We primarily raise the Highlands for beef and replacement heifers. We are currently growing the fold and heifers will be limited for a year or two more!
Stay on the Farm
Our short term rental house perches on a high ridge above the farm, keeping watch while enjoying a stunning vista of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It has four bedrooms and offers a chance to hike and explore the farm at your leisure.
Grass fed beef from Highland cattle stands above your average beef. Just ask the queen. Highland Cattle don’t just look beautiful, they forage exceptionally well and have a protective coat, producing a beef that is lean, nutritious, and delicious. It takes longer, is better for the animal, and better for you.
